Building of the Day

So one of the sites I check in on every day is the Great Buildings Online Building of the Day. It's usually some architecturally important monument or something.

Todays building?

A yurt.

As a bonus, "yurt" is fun to say. Try it five or six times fast. It sounds like the vocalisation of a little creature from a Miyazaki film.

I agree, I have always enjoyed saying yurt.

Also, I love miyazaki and this reminds me that I need a myazaki icon (preferably of Howl.)

i had no idea anyone lived in yurts other than for like, camping purposes. and the mongolians.
