I don't think I posted much about Boston, but while I was there we went to a very nifty outdoor sculpture park, DeCordova.
One of the pieces we all liked was a pile of I Beams by an artist named Cal Lane. He took old I Beams (and oil drums, too) and cut lacy decorative patterns out of them:
